A Beautiful Thing!

For those of you who actually read this, you know I usually post a story and photos of recent family activity. Well, this weekend more of the latter I guess. Our family has been members of Seacoast for several years now. My church history with SC goes back to 1995 (when they had only one campus), then early in our marriage Rhett and I went to the West Ashley Campus, and the last 4 years we have been going to Main Campus off of LongPoint Road. Anyway, since we were unable to attend our usual Saturday night service, we decided to try the newest Campus this morning, especially since it was right up the road...

Now let me give you this visual-I normally cry everytime I go to church. I can't fully explain it, nor at this point do I fight it. I welcome His presence and accept whatever ways He gets me to see, hear, and feel Him. Although I pray everyday, service time is when I like to "do business" with God. For a self proclaimed control freak, it is an important reminder that only one person is ultimately in control-He is! What a blessing to know our God has a plan for us and that He is in charge at all times-whew!

I am writing this basically for my own gratitude. Our family had the pleasure of attending the new campus today and it was incredibly moving. There were so many different people there in attendance, it looked like an ad for Bennetton, many different age groups, and the Praise Team was fabulous.! Everytime I am in church I think about singing on the Praise Team and realize(again) that I would never make it through a song without crying (again)...maybe one day.

I am grateful and blessed to live in a town that has many wonderful places of worship! Seacoast has made it easy for anyone to join them by offering multiple locations, even through podcast services.

While I am not perfect and could certainly set a better example...the good news is- tomorrow is a new day for a new way!

Halloween comes and goes....

Other than the intense sugar rush I am still feeling, I can't believe Halloween has come and gone! This year as always we did our Trick or Treating with The King Crew! While Lexi and Ava had a blast...my "little" man Cam, wanted nothing to do with his costume! Poor thing, Handy Manny was all we heard about for months and for whatever reason he did not want to put that darn thing on! Oh well...he had fun anyway and was just as happy wheeling the girls around the neighborhood! Here are a few pics...hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween! Boo to you until next year!

XO, Our Gang!
