Okay, so remember when I said Dad was taking us 4 "kids" on a cruise? Well, it came and went and it was one of the best trips EVER! We had too much fun! I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life. We met some wonderful people (I'm throwing a wink wink at 2 new girlfriends) and really just had a blast. My only complaint was that I didn't come back too relaxed, I was EXHAUSTED! It was well worth it and have the pics to prove it. Here are a few of the thousand we took! Christmas photos are coming up (need to upload)! Muwahhhhhhhh!

Louballoo Turns 2!!
Can you believe it? My baby girl has turned 2!! Lexi had a fabulous time at her Hello Kitty Party! Most of our family was there- Aunt Rolo and Lil' B (were in Raleigh), and Gigi (was sick)...we missed you so!! Lou is such a fun, spunky, energetic little girl. Always on the go, always singing, dancing, or drawing...she loves anything that resembles being "girly"! She has the best chuckle and will flash that pumpkin grin in any given moment. She is busy and keeps me on my toes...but she is my joy! Always happy to see her Momma, Daddy, and her Carmine (what she calls Cameron). Happy Birthday Momma's sweet girl...we love you so very much!

Mud Fight!
What's next Jello Wrestling? Just kidding...who ever said Clemson Girls fight dirty, may have been right! Ava and Lexi had a little too much fun, while we were watching the Clemson vs. Carolina game. The girls were COVERED in mud, Lexi actually had Mud Dreads in her hair. The funny thing was the boys were freakin' out because they were a tad dirty and hated it! I told Ashley, the next time- we are joining in on the fun!! Forget the mud bath at Urban Nirvana, I'm hitting my back yard!

A Beautiful Thing!
For those of you who actually read this, you know I usually post a story and photos of recent family activity. Well, this weekend more of the latter I guess. Our family has been members of Seacoast for several years now. My church history with SC goes back to 1995 (when they had only one campus), then early in our marriage Rhett and I went to the West Ashley Campus, and the last 4 years we have been going to Main Campus off of LongPoint Road. Anyway, since we were unable to attend our usual Saturday night service, we decided to try the newest Campus this morning, especially since it was right up the road...
Now let me give you this visual-I normally cry everytime I go to church. I can't fully explain it, nor at this point do I fight it. I welcome His presence and accept whatever ways He gets me to see, hear, and feel Him. Although I pray everyday, service time is when I like to "do business" with God. For a self proclaimed control freak, it is an important reminder that only one person is ultimately in control-He is! What a blessing to know our God has a plan for us and that He is in charge at all times-whew!
I am writing this basically for my own gratitude. Our family had the pleasure of attending the new campus today and it was incredibly moving. There were so many different people there in attendance, it looked like an ad for Bennetton, many different age groups, and the Praise Team was fabulous.! Everytime I am in church I think about singing on the Praise Team and realize(again) that I would never make it through a song without crying (again)...maybe one day.
I am grateful and blessed to live in a town that has many wonderful places of worship! Seacoast has made it easy for anyone to join them by offering multiple locations, even through podcast services.
While I am not perfect and could certainly set a better example...the good news is- tomorrow is a new day for a new way!

Halloween comes and goes....
Other than the intense sugar rush I am still feeling, I can't believe Halloween has come and gone! This year as always we did our Trick or Treating with The King Crew! While Lexi and Ava had a blast...my "little" man Cam, wanted nothing to do with his costume! Poor thing, Handy Manny was all we heard about for months and for whatever reason he did not want to put that darn thing on! Oh well...he had fun anyway and was just as happy wheeling the girls around the neighborhood! Here are a few pics...hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween! Boo to you until next year!
XO, Our Gang!

Pumpkin Patch Pictures!
Yeah, we had so much fun this weekend! These photos of us at The Patch are actually from last weekend, but that's life in the slow lane of not yet replacing my digital camera. So Santa-if you are watching I am being real freakin' good (too good if you ask me), and if you are listening...I would like a Cannon, point and shoot-at least 10mp and 12 zoom!
After 2 crazy busy days,-Rhett and I loaded up the kids and all of our bikes and hit the county park! We had a blast riding the trails for several miles and was very proud of my cautious Cameron! He did such a good job on his bike! A real train (booked for a private party of course) passed us, and that kid went flying down the path trying to catch up. He even fell, got back up, and went off again! Those of you who know my Cameron, know that this was a pretty big deal...he didn't even blink!
We finished off the day at a Fall Festival there at the park and then of course hit the playground! It was a great day and on any given Sunday from here on out...that's where you will find us!
Have a great week and have a fun, safe, junk filled Halloween!!

My Sweet Lou!
She is full steam ahead this girl! Afraid of nothing, loves everything and everyone...simply lights up a room. And those eyes... she already has her Daddy beat! I have always said I have one child who exhausts me mentally, and one who flat out wears me out physically! Even with all the "festivities" in our household, I couldn't ask for better children. (Someone just remind me of that very thought next time I am cleaning jello off of my ceiling!) Momma loves you Loubaloo, you're nothing but sugar!

Thomas the Train Tour!
Road trip! This trip was a big deal! With good behavior and 5 full sticker charts...Cameron earned his special Thomas Trip! All four of us went, but the weekend was all about Cameron. After I got off from work on Saturday, we drove to Charlotte to spend the night. After a short drive we arrived in Spencer NC around 11am! Cute little town with only the general store and the transportation museum in it! This is an actual tour that travels from town to town...ala Bon Jovi! They had so many fun things to do...jump castles, hayrides, slides, shows, and of course planty of TRAINS! The coolest part was the Roundhouse where they had so many old train cars to climb and walk through...although I think Cameron's favorite was the actual train ride! It was a great weekend. I am so blessed and thankful for my wonderful family!

Lexi and Ava
Last weekend Lou got to spend all day Saturday with her Aunt Ashley! She had so much fun...she came home with her first poneytail and pretty painted piggies, yelling "Go BUCS!" (for Ashley and Rhett's alumni CSU!). Lexi & Ava had a ball and Ashley got the pictures to prove it. We think they are a handful now? Just wait! They say having a daughter is like looking in a mirror at yourself. Ashley- we better start praying now sister,HA!

Go Tigers!
We had so much fun this weekend! Rhett had a conference in Greenville this week, so I took this past Saturday off to go to the Clemson (vs. Citadel) Game. Ken and Ashley camped out and met us up there for tailgating before the game...of course that was fun. Thanks to the Wilks family for having us! It was a beautiful day for a football game, although a bit warm. (I almost passed out in the stadium restrooms-however, I am still convinced that it was due to the heat and not the adult beverages we consumed earlier!) I even got to see my cousins Scott, Blair, and their crew! Then Rhett and I rode around and saw many of the houses he grew up in as a boy...it is pretty up in that neck of the woods and was glad I had a chance to see what he talks about so often. We hope to take Cameron back to watch a game, he would love it....GO TIGERS!

My Mini Me!
Last week was BUSY...Rhett and I got back from Hilton Head on Monday, Lou had school functions both Tuesday and Wednesday, Cam also started soccer Tuesday, but the best part of the week was going to see JOHN MAYER! I figured out that I was in the car 12 hours out of my 24 hour day, but it was well worth it! I drove to Wilmington and then Lorie (aka BFF) and I hit the road 2 more hours up to Raleigh. The weather had been horrible all day, but suddenly cleared just as we started to tailgate (along with the rest of the Duke student population!). It was 75 degrees as we sat underneath the stars, with a "cold one" in hand, listening to some of the best live music we have ever witnessed! It was fabulous and I was one happy camper! As stingy as this sounds, I am grateful to have the memory of it being just the two of us. Lorie, I had so much fun...we need to do this more often! You are an amazing person (don't go cleanin' up your act too much-wink wink), I am lucky to have you as my sister and to call you my best friend. You know I love ya...mooowahhhhh!

Happy Anniversary!
I can't believe Rhett and I have been married for 7 years! You will hear me say this alot...but wow- the time flies. Rhett suprised me with a trip to Hilton Head! We stayed at The Inn at Sea Pines which was just wonderful! The service was amazing and the accomodations were fabulous. We had a lovely and relaxing time together. Thank you to all who helped with Cam and Lex while we were gone. It was good to get away and even better to come home! Rhett, thank you for a special weekend.I love you to the moon and back and look forward to another 7 years, and another, and another, and another...xoxo!

Cheer Up Cameron!
Anyone with a 4 year old boy knows they DO NOT like having their picture taken! Cameron is no exception to the rule, he would rather eat his veggies than pose- much less smile for a photo. I love this shot of him, because somehow it says it all...little does he know, his Daddy and I bought him tickets for a very special trip. We are going to take a Thomas the Train ride up in the mountains, you get to meet Sir Topham Hat and ALL! He is going to be SO excited, maybe-just maybe I can get a picture of him actually smiling!

The Moore Family
I have been blogging like crazy lately. Not that I have time for a new addiction, but thought it was time to create a seperate bloggie just for family and friends! I can't promise the same weekly updates, but hey-I will get points for trying right?!
While no family is without their flaws, mine is still undeniably fabulous. This is a photo my brother Ryan (who leaves to go back to college this Wednesday) took of us over the weekend. We decided at the last minute to have him grab a family shot of us in the backyard while over for dinner, and I am forever grateful that he saved us a trip to Portrait Innovations! Anyone who has ever tried to wrangle a 4 year and a 1 1/2 year old in that place knows what I am talking about!
Thanks Ryan...have a safe trip back to USC Upstate!
